Metrotainment Cafes' flagship property, Einstein's was the first restaurant created by CEO Jeff Landau. Opened in 1991, Einstein's is housed in three 1920's bungalows and serves eclectic, accessible new world cuisine and is know city-wide for its award-winning brunch on Saturdays and Sundays. Einstein's modish space can accompany parties from 10 to 200 and is known as the best place in midtown for rehearsal dinners and special occasions.
The next venture for Metrotainment Cafes began in 1993 when Cowtippers, a casual "honky-tonk roadhouse" was opened. Highly popular with Midtown residents, Cowtippers boasts a Texas-sized patio and Margaritas that have taken home "best of " awards year after year. Shortly after Cowtippers was launched, Joe's on Juniper brought rave reviews from the locals, known far and wide for its patio, casual fare and personable staff. Joe's, a neighborhood tavern, was a natural addition, located just three doors down from Einstein's.
With three busy restaurants, it made sense to open our own bakery and provide outstanding desserts to our patrons. Metrotainment Bakery was opened in 1997 and now offers over 100 handmade desserts to all of our properties, as well as 120 wholesale accounts throughout the state. Our bakery's wedding cakes have won People Magazines "Best Wedding Cakes in Georgia" award and its cupcakes, cookies, pies, cheesecakes and specialty cakes make people melt with every bite.
After opening such diverse concepts, Metrotainment Cafes saught to open a signature restaurant. The result was Garrison's Broiler & Tap, an upscale yet casual steakhouse. Opened in Vinings in 1998, Garrison's has captured the hearts of neighbors with its Certified Angus Beef Steaks, fresh seafood and expansive wine list. In November of 2002, a new Joe's hit the scene in College Park - Joe's on Sullivan. This full-service restaurant has all the fun and flavor of the original and can easily accommodate large groups. A number of signature entrees were added to the Park Menu to round out this new south side favorite.
Our most recent success is Hudson Grille. Known as the "best sports bar in atlanta...period," each Hudson Grille features an enormous selection of draft beers, the best burgers in town, salads, steaks, seafood, wings, sandwiches and the best party spaces in Atlanta. Hudson Grille can make any event more memorable, hosting groups from 10 to 200!
For over two decades now, Metrotainment Cafes has become a part of the community and the neighborhoods it serves.
